Whats better for black bear hunting 35. rem or 7mm wsm and which grain bullets would you use thanks?
200 grain 35 remington. That gun is seriously good black bear medicine. It is like a 30-30 but blasts larger holes. It is also relatively light recoiling. The round is normally chambered in light, fast handling carbines, intended for hunting in thick brush. Black bear hunting tends to be a relatively short range affair.
Now, the 7mm WSM is a fine cartridge for long range shooting of deer and elk, but the 35 remington is a much better choice for bear hunting.
I'd go with a 200 grain bullet by a reputable maker like this one right here

That is some serious black bear medicine. Don't be fooled by the ft-lbs figure, that always favors lightweight fast bullets. Momentum is another good predictor of terminal performance, and this load has it in spades
