Does anyone know where any close hunting areas are fore whitetail deer?
i live in Pittsburgh,PA and need to have a good place to go hunting at. i have my rifle (sighted in) and am waitin for deer season, and cant find a good place to go.. i really dont want to travel anymore than 30-60 mins… to hunt..thanks

One reason that whitetail deer hunting can prove to be so difficult is the fact that the does are extremely careful about keeping their offspring hidden from predators. This results in the deer, even in maturity, being quite shy, nervous and overly cautious.

How big are white-tail deer in North Carolina? ?
I'm moving there from Michigan in a few months and I know they differ in size from state to state. For example, Florida has very small white-tail compared to Michigan, where an average sized deer weighs about 165-175 pounds before field dressing.
